‘You are the next one’ is the blessing I as a single hear on weddings.
The balkan angel on one of my shoulders thinks: shall I now wish them some joy in their own marriage? The other angel thinks: thank you for the blessing, but this is not for me. I usually listen to the second one.
I don’t see an institution giving me a how-to-do-and-what-do in a human relationship. To seal it. To authorise it. Instead it should be a mutual agreement based on respect and love from both partners.
And… what means until death aparts. Life-long?
Let’s get it right. having a relationship is amazing. Starting with ourselves, sharing with others, expanding to a greater community. I always really wanted ‘that’ one. But after a soul-search I feel differently.
Each person stepping into my life has a relationship of some kind with me. Some I give names, some I have to learn to respect, some are pleasurable, some touch me just like a drop of water. But every one is honourable.
I believe in love, relationships and connections of all kinds. I believe that people can be together both for a lifetime or only for a short moment to serve each others evolution and their soul’s growth.
