Walking away

Sometimes the best way to love someone is to walk away. To allow them to fall, to allow them to hit rock bottom.

Sometimes the best way to love someone is to walk away.

To allow them to fall, to allow them to hit rock bottom. They allow them to find themselves in the first place.

So many of us are enabling the people we love the most by playing the game with them, by being reactive to their temper, to their drama, to their issues. To their uncertainities and swings.

Sometimes walking away is the best answer. Having no touch at all. Choosing not to play with them when they’re in that mode, letting them know that until they are willing to meet you with some sanity when it comes to the situation you’re not going to engage, is sometimes the best thing you could ever do for a loved one.

Be willing to let go and you will gain it all.

True Love is taking a stand for someones freedom and growth no matter what it takes. Self love is standing up for your own freedom and growth… no matter how much it hurts.
